New Location Set to Open in Summer 2012

Brussels, Belgium, January 26, 2012 – Belgium’s capital gets ready to rock, as the iconic Hard Rock Cafe makes its way to Brussels! Hard Rock International is pleased to announce plans to bring the brand’s one-of-a-kind blend of music, entertainment and authentic scratch-based cuisine to Brussels, with a state-of-the-art location showcasing Hard Rock’s new design style and latest technology. The multi-level location, located in the heart of the city’s historic Grand Place, will be sure to contend as one of the Brussels’ premier dining and entertainment destinations.

Hard Rock Cafe Brussels will be complete with both indoor and outdoor dining areas including upscale design features and innovative technology, featuring the  Rock Wall™ Solo, an interactive touch wall featuring technology enabling fans to explore the world’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia collection and virtually tour all of the company’s 174 venues around the world.  In addition, memorabilia from Hard Rock’s iconic collection will adorn the walls of Hard Rock Cafe Brussels, including items from legendary musicians from around the world, as well as today’s top contemporary artists. 

To blend the city’s bohemian, eclectic feel with the energy and vibe of the Hard Rock brand, the cafe is located in a restored 16th Century building and will deliver a Hard Rock experience unique to the City of Brussels. The cafe will have more than 5,800 square-feet of space, including spacious seating for 150, a live music area for weekly events, a late night lounge and a merchandise-filled Rock Shop.

For more than 40 years, Hard Rock has offered guests classic American fare in a rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere.  Hard Rock Cafe Brussels will be the ideal location to showcase the brand’s world-famous cuisine, including Hard Rock’s Legendary Burgers, signature Smokehouse items and more.  In addition to its food, Hard Rock offers unmatched specialty drinks from its award-winning bar menu, from Hurricanes and Margaritas, to its Alternative Rock non-alcoholic beverage menu featuring favorites like Wildberry Smoothies and Crushed Velvet “martinis.”

The Brussels cafe’s Rock Shop, will offer rock 'n' roll-inspired items, as well as favorite collectible Hard Rock Cafe Brussels merchandise in its exclusive retail location.  This Brussels-specific merchandise can only be purchased at this location, offering an exclusive design quality that enhances each item’s appeal.  Fans can also acquire Hard Rock’s much-coveted signature pins, including new, limited-edition Brussels pins, which reflect the spirit of the city and the authenticity of Hard Rock’s merchandise.
