St. Maarten, often referred to as the crossroads of the Caribbean, provides vacationers the opportunity to enjoy three distinct cultures on one island. Dutch, French, and native cultures combine to form one incredible lifestyle, one astonishingly beautiful island. With dozens of beaches and lagoons, luxury hotels, and elegant villas, St. Maarten is a destination vacation for people the world over.
The prime beach location and amazing ocean view mix it up with Hard Rock's authentic rock 'n' roll experience, mouthwatering food, and world-class service to make Hard Rock Cafe St. Maarten a one-of-a-kind island setting. Whether you're sitting next to someone who just disembarked from a cruise ship or someone who's lived on the island their whole life, Hard Rock Cafe is the place to make new friends and roll with the good times, to enjoy the sea breeze on the terrace or the cool air conditioning inside the restaurant.
For the Cafe's grand opening, over 200 local VIPs were invited to witness the inauguration of the newest member to the Hard Rock family. The local Harley Davidson crew lined their bikes directly in front of the Rock Shop, a roaring grand entrance worthy of the name Hard Rock. All VIPs entered via a red carpet with 4 Hard Rock hostesses. Not a bad way to enter a Hard Rock, if we do say so ourselves. Which we do.
Highlights for the evening were Jukebox, an excellent Beatles cover band from Puerto Rico, an appearance by Hard Rock CEO Hamish Dodds, and a grand finale show by Chrystal Waters, who had everyone dancing the night away. The St. Maarten Voodoo Dancers did their rendition of Coyote Ugly on the HRC bar tops. You had to be there. It was awesome. What are you waiting for? Hard Rock Cafe St. Maarten rocks!
