Orlando, Fla., December 21, 2009 – Emerald City will be rockin’ with the anticipated opening of Hard Rock International’s first location in downtown Seattle, and Hard Rock is looking for local talent! On Monday, January 11th through Saturday, January 16th, Hard Rock will host the search for more than 140 of the area’s best and brightest rock stars-in-training for the new cafe at 116 Pike Street at the heart of downtown Seattle. Hard Rock Seattle will be hiring for servers, bartenders, bussers, cooks, hosts and retail associates. The job fair will take place at the 415 Westlake Building on Westlake Avenue North.
Slated to open February 2010, Hard Rock Cafe Seattle will be located near the famous Pike Place Market and will be complete with a new live music space, additional dining areas and upscale technology and design features. The aesthetic of Hard Rock Cafe Seattle will follow a “Rustic Refined” design vision that blends the heritage of the city of Seattle and the historic Pike Street building with the energy and vibe of the Hard Rock brand. The two-story cafe will have more than 14,000 square feet of space, including spacious seating, a state-of-the-art live concert venue, open-air rooftop deck, merchandise Rock Shop and rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia from Hard Rock’s iconic collection, including Washington’s legendary crop of home-grown music talent.
