Michael Jackson Glove Auctioned Off For Charity At Hard Rock Cafe New York

Posted on November 23, 2009

Last Saturday, Nov. 21, crowds turned out in record numbers at Hard Rock Cafe New York in Times Square to attend Julien’s Auctions highly anticipated auction of Michael Jackson’s iconic white glove that he wore at the historic Motown 25 performance in 1983, when he did the "moonwalk" for the first time, rocketing his fame even higher than he could've imagined. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the glove went to MusiCares, a charity that provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. A portion of the proceeds will go to MusiCares.

We just wanted to share a few photos from the evening.
