WHY Hungerthon 2009 Radiothon Starts Tomorrow!

Hungerthon was started in 1975 as a partnership between WHY and Infinity Broadcasting and has since expanded to become an autumn radio tradition among CBS Radio's New York tri-state area radio stations, plus 95.5 FM WPLJ, 104.3 FM WAXQ, Sirius Satellite Radio and internet-only stations RocklandWorldRadio.com and Kweevak.com.

This is such an amazing charity event, hosted by an amazing organization. As well, Hard Rock is very proud to partner with WHY again for Imagine There's No Hunger, proceeds from which go directly to WHY and 8 on-the-ground charity organizations.

Beginning tomorrow, WHY's partner radio stations will be hosting on-air promotions and auctions in support of Hungerthon throughout the Thanksgiving season, so be sure to tune in:

Saturday, November 21 6am-9pm
-Sports Radio 66 WFAN with Richard Neer (6am-9am) -101.9 WRXP. Song requests and dedications (10am-6pm)

Sunday, November 22
-Public Service Shows Sports Radio 66 WFAN; Fresh 102.7; 92.3 FM Now; Q104.3; 101.9 WRXP (6am-10am) -Sunday Morning Beatles show on Q104.3 (8am-10am) -Song requests offered on 101.9 WRXP (10am-6pm)
