Michael Jackson Sequined Glove To Be Auctioned For Charity At Hard Rock Cafe New York

Posted on November 18, 2009

On Saturday, Nov. 21, at Hard Rock Cafe New York, the Music Icons Auction will take place, bringing together memorabilia from some of the world's biggest music superstars, such as The Beatles, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, and many more, for an evening devoted to MusiCares, a charity that provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. A portion of the proceeds will go to MusiCares.

One of the highlights of the night is the auction of the sequined glove that Michael Jackson wore at the Motown 25th Anniversary special in 1983, when he debuted his "moonwalk."
