On Monday, November 9th, 2009, Hard Rock Cafe Boston and Mix 104.1 teamed up to host a private concert with OneRepublic. Fans were given the opportunity to ask the band questions throughout the show. Ryan Tedder, singer/songwriter for OneRepublic, took the lead on answering most of the questions, but the laid back atmosphere, as Tedder sipped tea and joked with the band and fans, was definitely a great experience for everyone.
The band started the show with “Apologize". They spoke after about where the song originated, how it has touched many of their fans for many different reasons. Tedder also spoke about the success of that single and how it has taken him two years to really understand and appreciate its success.
Next they sang “Stop and Stare," another fan favorite, and finished with the popular “All the Right Moves.” After the show, the band stuck around to chat with fans and sign autographs. The band also signed an acoustic Hard Rock Cafe guitar. which will be used for charity. Another great night at a Hard Rock Cafe! It happens all the time. Believe it.
