The Allman Brothers Band rocked Hard Rock Live at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, FL, last night as part of Hard Rock's Ambassadors of Rock Tour, a concert series featuring top artists and bands, designed to spread the universal language of rock. With Gregg Allman on keys, the dual guitar attack of Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks, Otiel Burbridge on bass, and the massive percussive force of Butch Trucks, "Jaimoe" Johanson, and Marc Quiñones, the bands' enthusiasm met the sold-out crowd's enthusiasm head on, each feeding off the others' engergies, each in those special moments you only come across during a live performance.
Before the show, the band autographed several special guitars that will be donated to the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital for a charity auction. This amazing hospital is designed to promote and support a mutually beneficial partnership between families and healthcare professionals in caring for children.
