Hundreds of guests will, once again, be amazed by the culinary talents of some of the finest chefs in South Florida at the Ann Storck Center’s 15th Annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction, to be held on Friday, October 3 at 7 p.m. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, FL.

Last year, the Celebrity Chefs event attracted more than 600 people and raised over $430,000 to support the Ann Storck Center Preschool and other programs.

Hard Rock's 2008 Ambassadors of Rock Tour heads to Singapore with a special performance by The Wailers.
Orlando, Fla., September 2008 – Hard Rock International is bringing a slice of Jamaica to Asia when its global Ambassadors of Rock Tour rolls into Singapore. Chaka Khan, one of the funkiest funksters this side of Funktown, will bring her awesome hits ("I'm Every Woman," "Tell Me Something Good," and "I Feel For You" are just a few) to Hard Rock Hotel Orlando's monthly Velvet Sessions on September 25th, in the hotel's lobby and the hotel's killer rock bar, Velvet Bar.

Veteran comedian and master ventriloquist Jeff Dunham brings his stand-up and cast of beloved characters to Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on December 11 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 19 at noon.

September 2008 – Hard Rock Hotels launches Pink Sheets for October 2008, part of Hard Rock International’s worldwide Pinktober campaign to benefit breast cancer awareness. During October, select guestrooms at Hard Rock Hotel properties in San Diego, Biloxi, Chicago, Orlando, Hollywood and Tampa will be outfitted in special pink-hued Sleep Like a Rock bedding with 25% of the room rate benefitting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Pink Sheets is part of Hard Rock’s ninth annual Pinktober breast cancer awareness campaign, a philanthropic initiative created to support organizations in the fight against breast cancer through the sales of a collectible Pinktober pin, key chain and T-shirt, as well as a series of live music events at Hard Rock establishments around the world.

Rock Band Live Show at Hard Rock’s Paradise Stage Wraps up U.S. Leg of Ambassadors of Rock Tour Features Performances by Panic At The Disco and Dashboard Confessional With Special Guests Plain White Ts and The Cab
Orlando, Fla., September 15, 2008 – Hard Rock International’s global Ambassadors of Rock Tour is heading to “Sin City”! On Thursday, October 9, Hard Rock and MTV will bring Rock Band™ Live to the Paradise Stage, an open-air venue located outside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. The event will feature live performances by co-headliners Panic At The Disco and Dashboard Confessional, along with special guests Plain White T’s and The Cab. Dashboard Confessional and Panic At The Disco will also donate memorabilia, which will be permanently added to Hard Rock’s world-famous collection. Panic At The Disco released their sophomore album, Pretty. Odd. on March 25, 2008 through Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen. Hard Rock’s 2008 Ambassadors of Rock Tour (AOR), a global concert series featuring top artists and bands, sets another killer stop on its worldwide trek. Actually, make that five stops. Mötley Crüe, heavy metal survivors of self-inflicted '80s decadence, will join the AOR Tour for five big shows across Japan, from Fukuoka to Tokyo. These boys survived themselves and continue to rock harder than ever. Believe it. From October 21 to October 26, Japan will be under the influence when Vince, Tommy, Nikki, and Mick bring their rock to the people and the people bring their love of rock to Vince, Tommy, Nikki, and Mick. Oh, the '80s. What a wonderful decade. At least for the boys in Mötley Crüe, that is. The '80s brought them great success and riches as they rode atop the heavy metal wave that sprang from the volatile and churning currents of the Los Angeles music scene. Unfortunately, the '80s also brought them monstrous drug addictions, from which they'd eventually emerge years later, thank you very much. They've learned and experienced much in the last 27 years and they haven't slowed down a bit. Well, maybe Mick, but that's not his fault, as you know if you know anything about the guys. Mötley Crüe has endured, despite their worst habits, and have come out the other side stronger than ever.
