India's Third Hard Rock Location Ready to Rock!
Orlando, Fla., March 24, 2008
– Hard Rock International, one of the world's most recognizable brands, is proud to announce the opening of
Hard Rock Bar Hyderabad
on Sunday, March 23rd. Located in the recently opened Rajiv Gandhi International Airport’s (RGIA) International Terminal, the new 1,700-square-foot bar and retail outlet is a full-service eatery that provides all the best amenities Hard Rock Cafe has to offer, providing travelers great American fare in a rock 'n' roll atmosphere!
“The opening of the Hyderabad bar marks our third location in India, following the recent opening of the Bengaluru cafe in December 2007,”
said Hamish Dodds, president and CEO of Hard Rock International.
“The bar will complement our forthcoming cafe location downtown, as we continue to expand our world-famous Hard Rock brand in India.”
With a 102-seat dining area and a full-service bar, the location offers an exclusive menu, featuring an American breakfast, catering to all travelers and their families. Hard Rock Bar Hyderabad will feature a Rock Shop offering the brand’s limited-edition and collectible merchandise, such as City and Classic T-shirts, pins and more. The walls of Hard Rock Bar Hyderabad will also be adorned with pieces from Hard Rock’s world-famous memorabilia collection, including items representing both contemporary stars, from Destiny’s Child and U2, to rock legends, including Elton John and John Lennon.
The opening of Hard Rock Bar Hyderabad marks India’s third Hard Rock location, joining the flagship Mumbai cafe and location in Bengaluru, which opened in September 2006 and December 2007, respectively. Hard Rock Bar Hyderabad will be owned and operated by HR Cafe India Pvt. Ltd., which boasts extensive experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, including India’s two existing cafe locations.
For the first time, Hard Rock Bar Hyderabad limited-edition and city-specific merchandise will be available. The Rock Shop will offer a limited line of authentic Hard Rock Bar items, including Hard Rock’s famous Classic and City t-shirts, as well as highly collectible accessories and pins. In addition, the Hyderabad bar will offer Hard Rock’s charity-driven Signature Series T-shirt line, featuring artists such as U2’s Bono, Shakira, and Green Day.

With over 70,000 pieces of rock history hanging on the walls of Hard Rock’s across the globe, even the most die-hard music fan was destined to miss out on something memorable. Until now.
Hard Rock is proud to announce the launch of a historic new memorabilia website,
memorabilia.hardrock.com
, the first live site in the world powered by Microsoft Silverlight 2 with Deep Zoom technology. The interactive site will allow users to view pieces from Hard Rock’s unparalleled memorabilia collection in never-before-seen jaw-dropping detail.
It’s not only the scope of the Hard Rock memorabilia collection that boggles the mind of rock fans, but the details. Seeing John Lennon’s handwriting on the lyrics to "Imagine," or the TV tuner knob that Bo Diddley re-purposed for his first hand-built guitar is a spine-tingling intimate experience. And now, for the first time ever, the greatest collection of music memorabilia in the world is at your fingertips.
